Malaysia Airlines planes

Malaysia Airlines has a fleet of 49 Airbus and Boeing aircraft. Since 2015, the carrier’s fleet has been undergoing a large-scale fleet renovation, with all older Boeing aircraft being replaced by modern Airbus models.

Airbus A330-200

Long-body (55.76 m) French-Dutch airliner with a high altitude (17.39 m). Thanks to two quiet GE CF6 engines, the aircraft reaches speeds of up to 871 km/h and a range of 7,200 km without refueling. By 2028, the airliner will become the backbone of Malaysia Airlines’ fleet.

Airbus A330-300

A stretched version of the A330-200. Its length has grown to 66 meters and its range has increased to 11,750 km. The airliner’s maneuverability has been increased due to streamlined wing geometry and lighter fuselage structures.

Airbus A350-900

A modern airliner from Airbus with a payload of up to 132 tons and a cruising speed of 903 km/h. Range is 15,320 km without refueling. 20 more have been pre-ordered.

Boeing 737-800

A classic but now obsolete version of the Boeing airliner with a low speed (up to 842 km/h) and a range of 5,436 km. Gradually being phased out of the Malaysia Airlines fleet.
